HISTORY
Broken Wings Ministry was birthed out of my Pain of an abusive past.
In 1998 I was blessed to have met Bruce & Heather Johnston the President’s of JH Ranch in Northern California. God sent these Angels into my life and I had no idea why.
In 1999 I accepted a position at the JH Ranch as a Full Time Staff Chef committing to one summer at the Ranch, as God would have it I stayed for 3 years under the mentoring of Bruce & Heather this is where my “Transitional Road” began of Healing the past hurts and wounds of my life.
I moved to JH Ranch a single mother with 40 years of pain, hurt, brokenness and unresolved relationships. By allowing Bruce, Heather the staff of JH and program that JH has to offer into my “Hurts” God orchestrated my path of “Healing” from
1st: Addiction from Drugs & Alcohol
2nd: My Anger from past Sexual, Emotional and Physical Abuse
3rd: My unresolved relationships in my family especially my parents and sisters.
With much support and help I was able to begin to reconstruct and unraveled life.
You see I was “Trampled by Life” in many ways and I had no where to go begin my “Healing”. But God knew the 3 years at the JH Ranch gave my life back to me in many ways. Bruce allowed me to share and speak of my “Life” in a “Testimony”. I never knew what that was nor could I ever speak about my “Secret Abuse” what would people think of me how anyone could know my pain or could even want to know. Much to my surprise God knew and He allowed a healing in my life that is only GOD could do.
God opened my heart and transformed that women who was: Beaten, Broken, Abused, Abandoned and “Trampled by Life” and HE gave me a reason for living so I could take this message of
HOPE and HEALING to all who need to receive it.
Thus Broken Wings Ministry of the Southeast was birthed. I moved to Tuscaloosa Alabama in 2004 with GOD as my PILOT I flew.
Broken Wings Ministry is a Non Profit Ministry catering to the “Trampled Women” of this life. Broken Wings has a Board of Directors consisting of 13 people by whom this ministry has touched.
Bill Trick is the President of Broken Wings Ministry, my dear friend and mentor whom has demonstrated a Godly Father figure in me and my son’s life.
Today in 2010 Broken Wings Ministry is my life. I am vowed to life of service to carry this message of Healing and Forgiveness to all.
